Hello and welcome to my blog,

my name is Tanya – a citizen of planet earth; born, bred and making a living in exotic Papua New Guinea. My goal in life is to make a difference in this life because I have lived.

An environmentalist by profession, I believe my calling is the highest office on earth – advocating the protection of the system that supports life in this little bubble we call our home (planet earth).   There are more ideas on how to protect our planet earth. In this blog, I put down my thoughts and opinions on issues as I see it from my corner.

Please do leave a comment as you surf by.

Thanks for the encouraging comment………there is so much to celebrate, so much to share, so much to learn, so much to to do for our beautiful country – “one of earth’s last frontiers”. The challenge is to first, have pride in our cultural and natural heritage; second, find the time to share all these with others; finding the time is again a challenge …. we can only do so much…. I can only do so much. Thanks and cheers.

      Hi William,

Thanks for letting me know, I will paste your weblink on my blog. The world would be a more peaceful place if people realise how dependent we are on nature and that the future of our species depend on us looking after it now.

Wankain. We need to encourage more PNG girls to start writing about our beautiful country from our unique perspective. We can no longer depend on outsiders to tell our stories. Keep writing. 🙂

We are part of the bigger picture. If we play this game within the confined of basic human instincts correctly, guided by common sense and logic, our small bubble Planet Earth would sustain us longer.

As it is, right now, Climate change is Real and Planet Earth is in danger.

Keep It up Tanya. Cool Blog. and am following your blog.

        Hi Tanya,
Department of Environment and Conservation’s arm – Conservation & Environment Protection Authority – has partnered with Goilala District and is trying to conserve a portion of land in Goilala into a Park of some sort.

I will make contact with you directly for some tips and hints and awareness and assistance with that.

        If that’s appropriate.
